12 Jubilee Drive, Coffin Bay
Coffin Bay's best kept secret
In Coffin Bay complete privacy is a challenge. It is a small community and most properties are relatively close together as they chase a view of our amazing waterways. Imagine then finding a property that offers total privacy and almost a complete secret to all but a few. This superb property, known as 'Newfoundland', is set on 2.129 hectares (over 5 acres) of magnificent gardens. Comprising two separate residences or one stunning home suitable for a large extended family.
The home boasts huge living spaces, several dining areas, two kitchens (main with a butlers pantry), four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bathrooms have separate bath and shower.
A large open fireplace, slow combustion and six split reverse cycle air conditioners ensure year round comfort, while the large heated swim spa makes this a house for all seasons.
Floors in the main house are either slate or tiles, complemented by ceilings of raked Western Red Cedar, accentuated with solid laminated Jarrah beams. The second house has polished timber floors throughout and high raked ceilings.
Undercover parking for six cars, boats or caravans is available and security lighting is strategically placed throughout the property.
9.5KW of solar panels has been installed, and three phase power ensures the smooth operation of the rain water tanks (135000 litres) and bore pumps.
Meander along the expansive lawned area and discover the hidden garden rooms, the fenced organic vegetable gardens, the bountiful fruit trees (including stone fruits, citrus, apples and nuts), the fish and frog ponds and the resident Indian Runner ducks.
This unique and private property has participated in the Australian Open Garden Program.
This property has been lovingly created and maintained by the same family for almost 25years. It is by far the most prestigious property in Coffin Bay and my words can in no way do it justice. Superlatives are wasted.
